Away cup match played on 22 October 2011.
Kicked off at 2:00 PM

Blackham went into this cup fixture high on life after beating Southborough 2-1 the previous week – Having survived a self harming nut job after the final whistle fear was something that nobody could smell.

The B & A juggernaut started strongly with some clean crisp passing on what was a very nice surface but slightly hard.

With the manager stuck in Poland with the Former B & A superstar Eugene Slade (I’m lead to believe they were there filming a promo for the Polish Big Brother) It was left to 2gun to manage the side

With a few changes to the starting 11 we still had an extremely strong side – Strength and depth this year will be very important for us, so long may it continue.

Hobbit wasn’t having the greatest day in front of goal – but it was his turn and shot which created the 1st goal – Luke pouncing on the keepers parried save.

Soon after the pin up boy of the team (and recently out of the closet – after a 3 way French kiss with 2 other Lads) Fergy scored a peachy diving header from a pinpoint Lukes cross from the right wing.

Baggo & Fergy continued to offer plenty of width as Blackham took control of the game.

After some good pressure on the edge of the box – Sergeant bayley Headed a ball back in the box – Where Hobbit pounced with a half volleyed over the shoulder finish to make the score 3 -0 at half time.

AFC valour created the 1st chance of the 2nd Half – when brown Bear came out quickly to make a great save to deny Valour’s striker – Good to see BB alert after a quiet 1st half.

Hugo was introduced shortly after the 2nd Half started – and scored with his 1st touch.

Thom Thumb missed a penalty after Zoltan the ref gave a very soft one for handball – I must say that the penalty was one of the worst ever seen! Scuffed wide to the left at a snail’s pace....!

Luke L went on to complete his hatrick – with 2 well taken goals, a fantastic performance by the new striker worthy of the match ball & a MOM award!

Thom Thumb atoned for his earlier penalty miss when Luke squared for him to Tap in to complete the scoring.

Other than a pitch invasion buy Kolo the dog I can’t really remember much else.

A Professional performance by the B & A followed up by some hard showering, back to the league next week Pembury Away.

 Yours in Sport
