<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;">Blackham & Ashurst Saracens hit the cruise control button from the off versus high brooms with a controlled & strong performance. <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;">With a couple of men missing from last week’s dogged win v woodlands – out went the Leopard (apparently he was required to do a show and tell on Big cats at Drusilla’s) <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;">& Hamish (who was on a tour with his newly formed boy band called Mishchief) in came Pat Lawrence & Ghandi. Huffers moving from Defence to Centre Mid & bowles moving back to his preferred position to centre back to continue his strong partnership with the gentle giant. <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;">B & A started brightly – using both wings to full effect & the strikers causing problems running in the holes. <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;">It didn’t take us long to take the lead – Mark skinned the full back – whipped a ball across the area, which bert flicked on to Hobbit who swivelled and found the bottom corner with his left foot from 15 yards. <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;">We kept the pressure on with a few good chances being missed although High Brooms had a good chance to equalise but yet again the Big man in the sticks proved why he is blackhams number 1. <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;">Bert whipped in tantalising cross from a deep angle which was begging to be punished like bayley on a hooker, huffers tried to attack but missed!
