Home league match played on 25 February 2012.
Kicked off at 2:00 PM

This truly was a game to forgot for the B & A boys, going into a big game like this the mood was not right in the dressing room before KO maybe without the guidance of the gaffer we were missing  a little bit of leadership.

Also without the clubs regular keeper Dan The Hunk Harrison it was blackhams number 2 Stan that stepped up between the sticks.

The game started a very cagey affair – with few chances being created although Southboro had slightly more possession and there right back who likes to push forward was getting a lot of the ball.

After 20 minutes southboro took the lead – a back pass was played to bowlesy who scuffed a clearance while under pressure which fell to the striker who was able to find the corner from 15 yards.

Entering half time the B & A boys still believed that we could get back into the game – we huffed & puffed but didn’t create many chances although we did see a lot of the ball.

A few half chances went begging & from a Blackham corner they broke straight up the other end and scored a goal with 20 minutes remaining on the clock.

Overall it was a bad day at the office for the boys in black & Red , not one we really want to dwell on.

Set pieces were poor & overall passing wasn’t great – southboro scored at the right times which helped them massively, but we can’t blame anyone but ourselves. Talk of bottling after the game I feel was a little over the top sometimes in football things go wrong especially over the course of a season

The main thing to remember here is though the league is still within our control, not one other club in the division can say that....We win all the remaining fixtures we win the league

Keep the Faith lads & let’s not make the same mistakes on the 25th April
