AS THE WILLOW POND HAMMERING LAST WEEK THE MANAGERS HAD TO MAKE CHANGES THEY TOOK MASSIVE GAMBLE MAKING 9 DIFFERENT POSITIONAL CHANGES, ONLY GRAINGER AND TABOUN STAYING IN THEIR POSITIONS. THEY DECISIDED THEY WANTED THE TEAM TO PLAY A BIT DEEPER WITH ALL CHANGE AT THE BACK WITH SPOORS PLAYING IN HIS LOVED PLACE OF RIGHT BACK AND DOUGLAS AND MCDONALD PARTERNERD BACKUP IN THE CENTRE AND BURNS BACK TO LEFT BACK.SKIPPER STOTT WENT BACK IN MIDFIELD ALONG SIDE STODDS IN THE MIDDLE AND KYLE AND TABOUN ON THE WINGS AND GRAINGER STAYED UPTOPS ALONG SIDE BATES WHO RETURNED.

A PLACE IN THE SEMIS WAS WAITING FOR THE WINNERS OF THIS FIXTURE AGAINST WALDRIDGE OR SANDHILLS. AS THE TEAMS WERE WARMING UP AND EVERYONE TALKING ABOUT WOLFSBURG MANAGER STEVE MCLAREN STANDING ON THE TOP OF THE HILL WATCHING HIS SON ON THE OTHER PITCH OUR REFEREE DECISED NOT TO TURN UP AS BOTH TEAMS AGREED THAT VAUDREY COULD REFEREE THE GAME. STEVEY RAN THE TEAM FROM THE SIDE AS PAUL REFFED THE GAME AND THE TACTICS WORKED OF STEVE ASKING THE LADS TO DROP DEEPER AND TELLING THE FULLS BACKS TO BE MORE DEFENSIVE THEN OVERLAPPING THE MIDFEILD. WE HAD NEVER BEATING HUNTER'S LODGE IN ALL THE TIME THEY BEEN IN THE LEAGUE SO WE DIDN'T LOOK FAVOURITES AS THEY TOOK AN EARLY LEAD JUST UNDER 5 MINUTES AS THE FORWARD WALKED THROUGH OUR TEAM AS HE RODE ALL THE TACKLES PUT IN TO BLAST THE BALL PAST HAYES. IT LOOKED AS WE WERE GUNNA GET TONKED BUT WE WERE PLAYING SOME GREAT FOOTBALL AND I THINK HUNTER'S UNDERESTAMATED US. 15 MINUTES GONE BLUESTONE WON A CORNER AS GRAINGER FLOATED A GOOD BALL IN FOR BATES TO HEADER THE BALL BACK ACROSS AS TABOUN WAS LURKING TO HEADER THE EQUILIZER. 5 MINUTES LATER GRAINGER SHOULD OF PUT BLUESTONE INFRONT AS SWITCH LOFTED BALL BY TABOUN CAME THROUGH ONE ON ONE WITH THE KEEPER AS THE KEEPER SAVED WELL WITH HIS FEET. A FEW MORE CHANCES CAME WITH YOUNG SHOOTING FROM DISTANCE AND A BATES SHOT BUT THE TEAMS WERE EQUIL AT HALFTIME. BLUESTONE WERE DOMINATING AND THE LADS TALKING ON THE SIDE ABOUT THE SHOCKING TACKLE PUT IN BY THEIR FULL BACK ON DAVEY STODDS WASN'T NICE TO WATCH. WE KNEW THEY WERE THERE TO BE BEATEN AS WE GOT BETTER AND BETTER AS THE GAME WENT ON AND OUR DEFENCE LOOKED SOLID AND OUR MIDFILED WAS PASSING THE BALL BETTER , SPREADING THE PLAY AND THE WINGERS WERE THRIVING FOR THE BALL.AGAIN FROM A SETPIECE BLUESTONE TOOK THE LEAD WITH TABOUN DRIVING IN A LOW BALL AS GRAINGER DECOYED AND THE BALL WENT IN OFF THEIR DEFENDER FOR AN OWN GOAL. HUNTER'S NEVER LOOKED LIKE THEY WANTED TO GET BACK IN THE GAME AS FROM NOTHING THIER BIG STRIKER RIFFLED THE BALL OFF THE BAR FROM DISTANCE. WE WENT ON TO PUNISH THEM WITH A THIRD GOAL WHEN GRAINGER GOT THE BALL ON THE LEFT A FLOATED A BALL INTO YOUNG AS HE PASSED THE BALL BACK ACROSS FOR TABOUN TO STIKE THE BALL HOME FROM 8 YARDS OUT. DAVEY SOLSKJAER STEVENS WAS INTRADUCED TO THE TEAM AS HE CAME ON FOR GRAINGER AS HE MADE AN IMMEDIATE IMPACT WHEN HE SCORED A BEAUTY FROM THEIR GOALKEEPERS MISSKICK TO LOB THE KEEPER SCORING WITH SOME GREAT COMPOSURE FOR 4-1. THEN STEVENS WAS INVOLVED AGAIN WITH GREAT PASS TO TABOUN AS HE BECAME HAT-TRICK HERO AS THE TEAM HAMMERD HUNTER'S 5-1 . THERE COULD OF BEEN A FEW CONTENDERS FOR MAN OF THE MATCH BUT CAPTAIN JAMIE STOTT GOT IT AS HE HELD THE MIDFILED GREAT .

GAMEPOINTERS - COMING BACK TO WIN FROM BEING A GOAL DOWN , HORROR TACKLE ON STODDS , TABOUN'S HAT-TRICK, DOUGIES PERFORMANCE , BRINGING STEVENS ON AND GELLING WELL AS A TEAM ON THE DAY.

(STEVES OF THE WEEK) - STEVE BREWSTERS TACTICS , STEVE MCLAREN ON THE HILL AND DAVEY STEVENS SUPERSUB!!
