BoC F.C. 2 vs 5 Foster & Partners

Half term this week which meant BOC were light on regulars, good work Stu for sorting that out and amazing work from Punter who travelled 36hrs to make a surprise appearance. Tasmania's polymath and modern day Leonardo da Vinci was taking a break from his humdrum island existence welding complex geometric artworks and planning treetop saunas to fill in for BOC in centre mid. Great to see him back. We had three ringers elsewhere to make up the numbers.

Fosters had a strong side out, but we held them off for a while without either team really threatening. Manu got going eventually for them though hitting the post before hitting a quick fire brace. Alex got one back with a great strike from distance, hitting a bouncing ball with power and topspin over the Fosters keeper. A nicely worked series of quick passes led to a goal for them making it 1-3 at the break.

Paul got a breakaway goal from a flick by Ben. It was lumped away from a Foster's corner and landed perfectly for Paul to run from halfway and round their keeper. Two goals for them at the end, one in Duncan time, but still counting it.
