BoC F.C. 4 vs 4 Royal Household

We were well in control of this one at 2-0 and 3-1 but managed a spectacular BoC-style collapse to 3-4 and required Puntah to get us slightly out of the brown stuff with a well taken finish in the last minute.

A draw probably a fair result.

New goalie Stefano had a decent game - one rush from his goal to smother the striker I think Tyson would have been prod of - but couldn't do much with some very good Royal Household finishing.

Particularly disappointing was conceding for 3-2 and then immediately conceding again from our kick off. Which prompted exaggerated celebrating amongst the Royal Household subs and a small amount of banter.

After that all we needed was a beer, but getting one proved surprisingly difficult. Duke was closed, so we tried the Latchmere, Lighthouse (Charlie G and Ed calling it a day at this point), Fox and Hounds, 4 Thieves before Chris definitely swinging the man of the match in his favour by finding us the excellent Crown near Clapham Junction. It was nearly last orders but we had a quick couple of beers, some burgers and watched some meaningless kickaround on the TV. Oh and separate tables and no mixing of course.

Special mention for Andy who was following us around 1 pub behind, enjoying a nice pint in the Latch while we were getting told to go away at the Fox and Hounds and finally reaching the 4 Thieves just as we were settling down at the Crown. It reminded me of the Christmas party where we tried to direct Tom to the pub we were in, Tom being post-work Christmas party slightly the worse for wear.
