Home league match played on 09 March 2013.
Kicked off at 1:30 PM

This match was all wrapped up inside 26 minutes, as BBOB stormed into an early 5 nil lead! Manager Steve Maskell kept his usual back four, the absent Jac Edwards was replaced by Dan Buchanan on the left of midfield, Michael McMahon was moved to central midfield alongside Howard Lloyd and the previous week's goal scoring hero Jamie Eade (both goals were tap ins!) was utilised at right midfield! Adam Craig joined top scorer Matt Barton up front.

Within just three minutes BBOB took the lead from a Matt Barton volley after some good work through midfield from Howard Lloyd and just a further three minutes later Matt doubled his tally after the opposition goalkeeper played the ball straight to him, his immediate shot was too strong for the keeper! Now BBOB were able to relax and play some of their usual passing football and it wasn't long before another goal came, this time Matt Barton turned provider after feeding a well-placed through ball to his fellow striker Adam Craig (Skin) and at full stretch he placed his shot underneath the on-rushing keeper into an empty net.

Despite the score line, the BBOB defence found themselves under occasional pressure from the Deans Dynamos forwards, possibly through a bit of complacency. A couple of chances were created by the opposition but were dealt with by the BBOB goalkeeper Craig Watson. Perhaps Deans Dynamos thought they could find their way back into this game, although this seemed unlikely after the 22nd minute, as BBOB stretched their lead to four! This time Adam Craig was the provider after a good passing move, his cross found the unmarked Jamie Eade who powered his shot into the roof of the net (when it could have just been tapped in!).

In the 26th minute the fifth goal came, this time Matt Barton did it alone, picking up the ball in midfield from a Craig Watson clearance and continuing to power into the Dynamos penalty box before unleashing a low drive into the bottom corner of the net to complete his hat-trick! BBOB continued to create chances as the half continued but the Deans Dynamos defence seemed to be temporarily wiser to the task and the score remained 5-0 at half time.

The second half was not as straight forward as BBOB had hoped! Dynamos had the better of the early exchanges, and within five minutes central midfielder Howard Lloyd was replaced by Chris Thomas, five minutes after this right back Paul Barton was replaced by Tom Bunting and just four minutes later Adam Craig was replaced by Ben Wheatland to complete a crazy staggered triple substitution, which certainly must have kept the referee on his toes!

Within two minutes of the final substitution Dean Dynamos reduced the deficit with a good move and opened up the BBOB defence, finding a Dynamo forward and his well hit right footed strike was too much for the BBOB keeper. BBOB continued to try to play their usual way but this was becoming more difficult as the opposition improved their game, in the 67th minute Matt Barton scored BBOB's sixth goal of the game and his fourth. After a well worked move down the left Dan Buchanan produced a superb cross and Matt Barton's diving header bounced perfectly past the Dynamo keeper. In the 78th minute Matt Barton scored his fifth goal of the game and 21st league goal of the campaign, this time after controlling the ball on the edge of the area, he turned to half-volley his effort into the top left hand corner of the net!

Two minutes later a Deans Dynamos cross from the right somehow eluded everyone in the area and found its way into the left hand bottom corner of the BBOB net to take the Dynamo's tally to two! With seconds to play, within stoppage time, a good passing move down the right found Jamie Eade inside the area, he unselfishly, played the ball square to Ben Wheatland who could make no mistake from two yards out to complete the rout!

A fifth win in a row, the majority of the BBOB players were unhappy with the score line as the game finished, this was largely due to the lack of a clean sheet. This shows how the team has been improving and the high standards that are expected every week! Hopefully BBOB will take that attitude into every game for the rest of the season!
