Home league match played on 28 September 2013.
Kicked off at 1:30 PM

BBOB made it three wins in a row with an explosive first half performance, Scott Kemsley returned to the action at left back, Ryan Satterly also returned, this time to keep goal! Stuart Burgess made his first start of the season at centre back and Jac Edwards returned from one week's absence to his usual left midfield slot. Tom Marshall returned to the centre of midfield as Fletcher Elliott also returned, starting at right midfield.

BBOB took control of the game from the off and maintained possession well and after a few early chances they took the lead in the 13th minute. A ball down the middle was perfectly flicked by Lee Madigan (Chief) into the path of his strike partner Jamie Eade who buried his chance across the keeper into the bottom corner! Two minutes later BBOB doubled their lead, after a well taken corner by Jamie Eade found the head of an unmarked Howard Lloyd who directed the ball through a crowd of players into the net!

BBOB settled down after this, but perhaps relaxed too much! As ten minutes later, and against the run of play, Midway worked the ball to the edge of the BBOB area to their forward. His turn and strike was misjudged by the BBOB keeper, and the same player was able to poke the ball into an empty net!

It didn't take long for BBOB to get their third, it was the perfect response to the setback of conceding a goal, Tom found Chief in space inside the Midway box and his side footed shot placed the ball beyond the Midway keeper. In the 32nd BBOB made it four, although it was slightly fortunate, a loose ball bounced into the Midway box and it apparently touched a defender's arm and a penalty was awarded. After a long wait, Chief placed the ball past the Midway keeper to keep BBOB on track for another three points!

Just before half time BBOB made it five, after a well struck free kick from left back Scott Kemsley was directed into the net by Jamie Eade with the faintest of touches! Half time BBOB 4 Midway 1.

Jac Edwards was replaced at half time after picking up an injury; he was replaced by player-manager Steve Maskell.

The second half was completely different; BBOB struggled to find the form that had dominated the first half.  Further chances were created, a good run from Fletcher Elliott on the right found right back Paul Barton in space just inside the area but he could only drag his shot well wide of the far post! Shortly after this Fletcher Elliott was replaced by striker Dave Garrett on 60 minutes. Steve Maskell switched to right midfield and Jamie Eade moved to left midfield.

BBOB were happy to soak up some pressure from Midway and try to hit them on the break! In fact this was just how BBOB scored their final goal of the match on 63 minutes, as Jamie Eade was played through by “H” on the left, he was able to fire a fierce left foot shot across the keeper into the net to claim his second hat-trick of the season!

Midway created very few chances on the BBOB goal and keeper Ryan Satterly was able to deal with anything that came his way! Overall this was another confident performance from BBOB and a great score line, considering key players were missing and will be returning in the coming weeks!
