Home cup match played on 07 November 2009.
Kicked off at 1:30 AM

The scoring opened in this incredible game within the first five minutes, when Ampito took the lead from a well place shot from the edge of the area after BBOB failed to clear the ball. Following this the game appeared to settle down with both teams attacking well, in the 20th minute a deep cross from a BBOB corner found an Ampito defender who somehow placed the ball in his own net.
Shortly afterwards, and against the run of play, Ampito re-took the lead with some clever play on the left hand side, resulting in a close range effort finding the back of the net.
BBOB were not deterred by this and continued to press, in the 35th minute centre forward Howard Lloyd retrieved the ball on the edge of the box and fired in the equaliser and two minutes later he set up strike partner Matt Barton who with a shot on the turn, gave BBOB the lead with a looping shot delivered over the opposition's keeper's head.

Half time 3-2 to BBOB.

BBOB started the second half well and forced Ampito back with some good possession and attacking play. The BBOB fourth goal came from an over hit long cross from Matt Barton from the left hand side, the keeper again unable to reach it. Left winger Matt Roberts was replaced by Owain Bower shortly after this.
Ampito pulled a goal back in the 57th minute from close range as BBOB were unable to clear a corner, in the 63rd minute BBOB conceded the equaliser. Goalkeeper Ricci Corsano failed to completely clear a ball and an Ampito midfielder was able to hit the ball first time from distance into the empty BBOB net.
Despite this major setback BBOB were determined to win the game and after further pressure on Ampito Matt Barton completed his hat-trick, after once again latching onto a ball from Howard Lloyd to put BBOB in the lead.
Ampito responded almost immediately, scoring again from close range, after a cross from the right hand side found an unmarked player in the box who finished well.
With 15 minutes to go both teams were not going to settle for extra time, and in the 80th minute, some clever one touch football on the edge of Ampito's box found Howard LLoyd in the penalty area; under pressure from two defenders he stuck the ball through the keeper's legs to seemingly clinch the game for BBOB!
There was almost a last twist in the tale, when the ball fell to an Ampito player in the last minute from a corner, luckily the player shot straight at the BBOB keeper and the game was finally won!

A very enjoyable game for the spectator (I have been told!) and a great display of attacking football from both teams throughout! Having said this, I would still settle for a comfortable 3-0 win this week (actually every week)! Apologies to those who didn't get a mention!! PB.
