Home league match played on 09 February 2013.
Kicked off at 10:30 AM

Bramford welcomed St Johns to Acton Road for the 2nd time this season as we entertained them in the cup back in October.

Bramford welcomed back Pat, James R and Iddy to the squad to face Saints, but were missing Josh L, James K and Lewie for the morning fixture.

Bramford Starting XI: Windsor, Whitefield, Stone, Saunderson, Wall, Pearce, Gibson, Race, Pike, Tabrizi, Kirby Subs: Webb, Sharman.

Bramford started well and played well from the back, Gus and Grant linked well down the right, with Gus overlapping Grant at times to try and get forward. James and Will were breaking up play in the middle really well and were finding a good pass. George was dropping deep to collect the ball, but found himself missing Joshy alot more just like last week.

George opened the scoring when a Saints gave a needless freekick away for a foul on Alex on the sideline. George hit it hard and low through the crowd of players and past the diving goalkeeper to make it 1-0.

George thought he'd netted again when he hit the side netting just minutes later.

St Johns won a free kick on half way and lumped into the box, Rossi flicked it on for Sam Holland to make a power diving header but Joel was equal to it.

Tom and Reece made some vital interceptions against the very lackluster Saints attack, and when the ball did break behind them James was solid in his tackle on the Saints winger just before letting fire.

George made it 2-0 when he was thread a through ball and hit it hard past the Saints keeper.

HALF TIME

Saints switched their keeper at half time, and the new keeper had a tough time of it in his 45 minutes, clattered twice and then made to play at full back with a injury, was made for a forgettable day for him.

Bramford played with cool heads and played some of the nicest football we've played this season. James added Bramfords 3rd when Tom's corner was deflected to the back post and James met it with a brillaint diving header to make it 3-0.

Bramford added their 4th when there was a goalmouth scramble and the Saints CB netted it himself to make it 4-0.

The back 4 made some vital blocks as per usual and some great tackles when Saints did get forward, Joel made a awkward save down to his right late on but that was the only time Saints threatened the clean sheet.

George contined to battle up top and Grant added Bramford's 5th when he decided to "1-2" with the keeper, then "1-2" with defender before slamming it home for the last goal.

The final score 5-0.

Falcons lost 4-3 to Sutton so Felixstowe drop to 7th, and Sutton become the new title contenders. still a big gap between them and outselves, 4 points is the gap and bramford have a couple of games in hand.
