Away league match played on 24 November 2012.
Kicked off at 10:30 AM

Bramford made the short trip to The Recreation Ground for the first local derby of the season between Claydon and Bramford. With players not in the best shape to start a game and Reece and Mark turning up late, it was looked that a shock could be on the cards in this match. James Race returned to captain the team and idris dropped back into Centre back role beside Tom.

The Recreation Ground pitch was probably the worst ground Bramford have played on this season, and especially after playing at Bacton last week it made look even worse.

The game had started slow and there was very little between the 2 sides in the 1st 10 minutes, and very little action, apart from a dodgy back pass from alex which Joel delt with awfully and allowed to slip under his foot and off for a corner but apart from that it was very dull but on the 10th minute George intercepted a very weak Reece Willox goalkick and and the combination of a defensive miss kick and Josh Lea determination lead to the first goal, he went 1 on 1 and slotted it home to make 1-0.

The game had became a bit scrappy, both teams wanted to pass the ball but it mostly lead to woefully under hit passes or a long hoof. There was a goal mouth scramble from a Jamie Walden free kick which Grant sheilded off after  the ball was cannoned off a few players for Joel to collect.

On 24 minutes a goal mouth scramble at the other end lead to a smash from George on the edge of the box only to hit Alex. Alex then turned and slotted into the net to make it 2-0.

Just before half time, James headed home from 10 yards from a corner by Josh through a crowd of players to make it 3-0.

Just after half time James doubled his talley and added Bramfords 4th, which he slotted home from at a tight angle past the Claydon Goalkeeper to make it 4-0.

George had a lot of chances to convert, but it just wasnt his day and he just couldnt find that final product to score.

Joel pulled off a good save from Alistair Gravett-Curl, it might have been going just wide but better to be safe than sorry. Josh Perry and Joe Phillips were getting little service up top and didnt really test Joel again after that.

On the 68th minute Josh scored bramfords 5th as he netted it past the diving Reece Willox 5-0. And then the scoring was complete just 7 minutes later from when George flicked on a long ball, Josh then took round the keeper and passed it into an empty net with 15 minutes spare and to complete his hat-trick 6-0.

Pat had a good chance to make it 7 when he went down the right and had a shot saved by the goalkeeper and George's day was summed up when a powerful shot from 8 yards went through a crowd of players only to hit the goalkeeper and was held by the force of the ball.

Joint MOTM for Joel and Lewie!
