Bramford United 5-1 Whitton United.

Bramford welcomed Whitton United from the Ridgeons Central Division to Acton Road on a hot Saturday morning. Also returning was Jake Rudge deciding to play against the club he plays for on a saturday morning. Also returning to the Bramford side was Josh Lea after spending all pre-season with Ridgeons League side Ipswich Wanderers and it didnt take long for him to get in the goals.

Bramford started slowly in the 1st 20 minutes and had to soak up alot of preassure from the Ridgeons outfit, and all the pressure feel through and Whitton were aloud a soft goal from 20 yards that beat Joel into the far corner. 0-1

Danny had swapped with Josh on the wing and Josh had gone up top to partner George and on 38 minutes George played through Josh for his 1st which he tucked away nicely. 1-1 On 44 minutes Josh and George combined together again and once again George was provider to Josh, as again he beat the advancing goalkeeper to make 2-1.

At half time Bramford went in 2-1 up and maybe feeling lucky that they had the lead. But the 2nd half showed the class between the 2 sides.

In the 2nd half Bramford changed the system which saw Striker George Kirby play at centre back and then left back and saw Idris play right back.

A through ball from Josh Lea saw Logan Webb get on the end of the looping through ball and send it in to the back of the net to make it 3-1, maybe against the run of play.

The 4th goal was a pass out from the Whitton goalkeeper and then a mix up between the 2 centre halves while they messed about with it, which saw Josh Lea pounce on the mistake and score his hat-trick on his return to the side.4-1.

For 20 minutes it remained 4-1 but on 85 minutes George Kirby recieved a roll out from Joel and he ran the length of the pitch beating 5 players on his way, cutting inside and then thunderbolted a shot through the Whitton Utd goaleepers legs. 5-1

A very good end to pre season and a big look forward to the league season to start.
