It's a renewed rivalry as Chestercity FC welcomes the same team in Sundae Boulevard on the same Bedok North pitch only this time seeing Kim Sun donning the green jersey of the opponents.

Seeing Kim Sun shaking hands and embracing City team manager Ridwan and ex teammates of his, it's certainly an emotional way to start the game.

City started the match welcoming some players back, with names like Afizan who played with City 2 seasons ago came back for his second spell with the club.

Team manager Ridwan was so enticed with Ryan's last weekend formation, he decided to throw in much spice into the match by ditching his favourite 4-4-2 to a 3-5-2 attacking formation.

With Amin as the only goalkeeper, the 3 back line players of Afizan, Ryan and Aleef was a force to be reckon.

The 5 across midfield has a rather balance between attacking and defender. Naming 2 defensive midfielders in "Zaza" Bahri and Indra, the wing position was taken up by returning Anon and Eddy who both missed out on last week match against JFC. Duncan had a free role behind forwards Airul and captain for the match Xavier.

On the bench, Afiq was given a second chance on the team along with Bob and Fabian who arrived late.

City had ball possession from the minute go and they had a couple of sniffs at goal.

Sundae on the other hand had players like Hidayat missing from their line up but was solid at the back with Kim Sun stopping most of City's attack.

But that stop in the 20th minute. From a set piece, Indra lofts a cross into the 6 yard box which was cleared and  Xavier was first to head back into the danger area with Afizan rising free to head past the goalkeeper for his first ever City goal.

7 mins later, it was 2-0. Duncan was on the scoresheet two weeks in a row from a freekick but this time the keeper gave a hand to a goal spilling Duncan's shot into his goal.

Xavier had one glorious chance when he side footed the goalkeeper and with an open goal, he could only managed to chip towards the repositioned keeper much to the displeasure of Duncan who was free in the box.

Fabian then was brought on for Xavier pushing Eddy as a striker.

Airul then nearly brought joy to City camp but saw his scuffed shot grazing past the post. He also had a header comfortably saved by the keeper after a gods delivered cross by Anon.

Sundae did not backed down, they pulled themselves a goal back through a penalty. Referee have rather a soft penalty when Aleef was deemed to hold back Sundae's winger in the box. It was a good penalty giving Amin no chance who had a hand to it.

2-1 it stayed at half time.

City started the second half like they did with Indra and Zaza stopping most of Sundae's advance in midfield. Their number 7 was diving into tackles some which were way off clean.

Ridwan then comes on for Afizan shifting Eddy to defence. And within 5 minutes of his introduction, City found their 3rd.

A sloppy pass from Kim Sun sets Ridwan free, skipping past their left back Ridwan lays it to Airul who put Duncan through whom handsomely beats the goalkeeper with a left footed shot. 3-1.

Indra was subtitute later with Bob coming on and minutes after coming on he had a shot going wide.

That was the end of action when referee blew for full time with City grabbing all 3 in this league encounter.

Ridwan commented,"It's good to see Kim Sun. Well he have made his decision on joining Sundae Boulevard so we wish him all the best. The lads have proven yet again they aren't push over team. Last week 3-3 draw with JFC, we better this time round with a great performance. We have picked up and now it's time to do one over TGA Buffalos. "
