Triple X United Against Chestercity FC. It's yet another local United vs City rivalry only by far its an amateur friendly. With Xavier and Jelson getting the nod by City manager Ridwan to play as rivals today,

City was dampen when their squad had to be reduced to bits and pieces with most team players out. Calling up emergency backups, City layout a formation which is quite a formidable strike force.

Naming 2 trialist in Syazwan and Samir, they were on the bench with returning Irfan Salim who played in season 18 with City. Starting with a 3-5-2 formation, In goal, the late withdrawal of Amin was a setback, Safiuddin was restored in goal Fabian Parry and Eddy started as the back 3, the 5 across midfield has 2 holding midfielders in Ryan and Indra with Anon and manager Ridwan slotting on the wings. With star player Duncan out, City recalls Izzat Hashim to play behind strikers Airul and Bob Ashura. Triple X has a couple of young blood talents and was looking very promising.

Early in the 5th min, City dominate the game. They scored from their second effort on target when Eddy rose the highest to head in City's first goal from Indra's corner. United then replied 2 mins later, when they scored from inside the box. With the hot sun scorching on the turf, City were left wondering what hit them when they went 3-1 down with United scoring in the 15th and 33rd min with the introduction of their one game loan player from Balestier prime league squad whom City team manager got into a tangle with after a horrendous challenge.

Half time score was 3-1. Halftime changes, Din gives way to Syazwan and Samir also comes on to play left, while Bob swapped position with Ridwan. A minute into the restart, United scored when City were switch off. 4-1.

Then Anon went gung-ho. In the 47th minute, he went past a defender on the flank saw the run of Ridwan and with a slight luck, Ridwan shoots into the net. It's 2 goal in 2 games for the forward.

City is then let down by a goalkeeping error. From a rather soft corner kick Syazwan spills it in front of his opponent feet who taps into the empty net. 5-2. With the Balestier prime league player doing most of the damage.

Syazwan then re justifies himself when he saved a rather tame penalty to keep the score at 5-2 but he was haplessly beaten in the 55th minute.

6-2 scoreline brought a disgust figure in Bob as he walks off and was being replaced by Irfan Salim.

City pulled a goal back in the 66th minute when Izzat Hashim dazzled his way past 2 players on the left wing digs the ball with a cheeky loop and with Irfan free at the edge, the 15 year old smashed into the bottom corner leaving the despairing diving keeper no chance.
6-3.

But it was soon out of reached when TXU scored a further 2 goals to make the scoreline an unmemorable 8-3 lost.

City coach refused to comment after the game but in CityNews point of view, we felt that Ridwan is totally outrage with City's performance.
