Away league match played on 01 September 2011.
Kicked off at 6:30 PM

The second game of The Commercial FC's season was against an old foe in Carl Grayson & Co!!  Despite being a new team, the majority of the players were former Weaponess players from last year, but a new season still means an unknown quantity facing The Commercial in muggy Mount conditions.

The game started well as the referee failed to show!!  The opposition manager volunteered to ref and due to his 'physique', we all knew he wouldn't be running that far!! (Although probably more than Albert from the week before!!)

The game begun and I think we all knew how it was going to go afer the opening five minutes!!

The Commercial dominated with at least 70% possesion and this is where the match reporter unfortunately cannot remember the exact order of goals due to submitting his report days after the event!!! (Sorry guys!!)

The goals that were as follows, not in the order set out below:-

Jamie Fowler scored a 'lucky' goal but was in the right place at the right time.  A mike Clark run down the wing and cut inside to the byline.  As he stormed towards the goal, he powered a shot at the keep who parried it onto Jamie Fowlers knee and into to the back of the net.

Jamie's second goal was another tap in after good work down the right, again by mike who passed to Lee. Lee then held off a strong challenge from the defender to pass to Jamie, two yards out, but again, he beat the defender to the ball to score his second.

Adams' goal came from a Jonny Slater corner.  The ball arrowed in to the 'leaping' Nick Palmer who powered his header towards goal.  Unfortunately it was straight at the keeper who pushed it away.  Pouncing at the far post, Adam beat the defender to the ball and vollied the ball into the top corner, giving the defender on the line no chance!

The own goal came at the hands of the unfortunate Peter Noble!  For the second game running, a Commercial player had a good shot smash against the woodwork only for the unfortunate keeper to have the ball hit them on the back to rebound in!  A good run from Pete ended with a shot smashed against the foot of the post which then hit the keeper and bounced in!  Twice in two games, who'd have thought it!!

Now for Lee 'Devestating' Drydales' four goals, all came from different situations! From a long ball over the top, crosses from the wings and for the Hat Trick, a Penalty, Lee was in scintillating form.

As I can't remember all of them exactly (sorry Lee!!) I will say they were all extremely calm finishes from a man who likes scoring plenty of goals in games, with the most amusing goal coming from a Mike Clark cross.  Lee threw himself at the header only to smash it straight at the keeper.  As the ball came back and Lee on the floor, he jumped up with the spring of an 18 year old in his legs and buried the rebound. The fourth of his goals in his suberb performance.

An easier game I don't think the Commercial will have all season and a from front to back a solid performance without the need to worry too much about the defending element.  That being said, Olly bossed the back four with ease and made sure no-one was passing him!!
