In the only the second league game of the season, Dip N Run FC got off to a slow start although it wasn't until around the 6th minute that the deadlock was broken. A short kick in from Greg Gamm was miscontrolled by Pep Peppard and The Cunning Stunts broke quickly to slot home the first goal of the game leaving keeper Jordan Brown with no chance.

Dip N Run came back strong and pushed hard to get back on level terms. It was during this push for an equaliser possession was squandered in the final third, and the ensuing counter attack left the score at 2-0

Heads dropped a little and Dip N Run FC struggled to maintain possession of the ball in the middle of the park. Everything positive for Dip N Run was coming through Gregg Gamm in he middle of the park, looking to bring other people into play.

The introduction of last week’s MOM Matty Pring brought a little renewed energy to Dip N Run FC, although the opposition did a good job containing his strong bursts down the flanks.

The third and fourth goal for The Cunning Stunts came in quick succession, as Dip N Run FC lost their shape towards the end of the first half. Both goals were sloppy, with collective and individual errors leading to the drastic score line. With half time approaching Dip N Run FC pushed to get the goal that would give them a foot hold in the game, but again were caught on the counter attack leaving the half time score 5-0.

The second half kicked off with Dip N Run intent on getting some pride out of the game, and they were much more controlled in the early stages of the second half. Richard Hall and Gary Owen taking charge at the back with positive controlled passing into the midfield. The team also began to create half chances testing the keeper and going close on a few occasions.

Chances for either side were limited , and some of the pace died from the game in the closing moments. With only minutes on the clock, The Cunning Stunts put together a string of passes in a flowing move down the left , ending in a cross into the box which was met with a superb volley to make the final score 6-0.

Dip N Run FC can take heart from a much more controlled and efficent second half performance , but will need to start better after going down early in both of their opeing games.
