Enfield Celtic 2nds lined up in a classic 4-3-3 formation, aiming to balance defensive solidity with attacking flair. Kyle Kavanagh took his place between the sticks as goalkeeper, with a back four comprising Sean Mcphillips at right back, Nixon Campion and Paul Burdett as central defenders, and Jody Campion on the left. The midfield trio featured Karl Hynes on the right, Charlie Jordan centrally, and Dan Carolan on the left, tasked with both defensive duties and supplying the front line. Despite these changes, Harp Celtic extended their advantage further in the 83rd minute, making it 3-2. Enfield Celtic 2nds responded with further substitutions; Charlie Fagan came on for striker Lee Sheehan in the 72nd minute, and Daragh Farrelly replaced right midfielder Karl Hynes at 83 minutes, both tactical moves aimed at turning the tide.

Enfield Celtic 2nds did manage to pull a goal back in the 75th minute through Aaron O Reilly, who finished neatly inside the box with his left foot following a well-placed cross from Charlie Jordan.
