I wrote a massive report and then my machine crashed ! FFS
I don’t have time to re write it ! So , highlights !
We had the better of them first half, they had the better second half.
5-4-1 works in terms of stopping us being routed early
We gave away to many freekicks.....
There manager was dodgy with the flag at the end
1-1 was a fair result
We could have won it at the end, but then again they hit post/bar and had one cleared off line, at times we rode our luck (first time weve had luck with us this season!)
They were 3rd in the league so a points great really
We looked knackered second half on boggy pitch. All players are welcome to Tuesday night footy to improve fitness.
We need to be better and playing short passes and keeping ball. We gave the ball away too much second half.
Defence were solid. Midfield ran hard and played well in general.
Next week I will tell the team who takes corners and freekicks depending on where we are in the park.
We need to make sure when defending corners that posts are covered and we "height match"
Overall great team effort, cant fault the effort !
