Top of the table clash away to Barrhead last night and a massive game in the season with only 2 points seperating the sides.
A strong start from the High school sees us take an early lead for the first time in a while. Ashton released Kaiden down the wing and he fired a cracking ball across the goal finding Mure at the back post for an easy tap in 1-0.
It was all High School in early stages, the front 3 of Zack, Dylan and Kaiden creating chances and causing Barrhead problems with every attack.
A well worked move between Mure and Zack, puts Zack in behind but with lots to do, but beats the full back well, gets into the box and smashes a shot into the far side of the goal from a tight angle. Great goal. 2-0
Mure and Zack linking up well again, Mure winning the ball well in the middle of the park and playing a perfectly weighted pass over the top for Zack, who drives forward, gets past his man and toe pokes under the keeper. 3-0
A great first half High School well on top, the boys showing hunger and desire and winning majority of their tackles and most importantly taking our chances when they came.
Second half starts off like the first, and in the first attack Kieran released Kaiden who turns and gets across his man, and smashes a shot low into the bottom corner. Great strike. 4-0
And ten minutes later it was five. Zak F and Zack W combining well, and Zak F fires a cross in from the left to find Kaiden unmarked in the middle of the box and he makes no mistake from 6 yards out. 5-0
The last 20-30 mins of the half was a bit more even, Barrhead to their credit never gave up and tried to get the ball forward but i felt our defence were solid all night and kept the Barrhead chances to few and far between.
All in all a brilliant performance from us right across the squad. Shammy and defence were solid, the midfield worked their arses off and won their battles and the forwards caused problems all night. Felt we took our chances tonight and the early goals make all the difference in the run of the game. Superb.

Coaches MotM: Probably the toughest choice all season as lots of brilliant performances, but we all agreed on Kaiden ?? Wee man was a pest all night, chased down every loose ball, didnt give Barrhead defence a minutes peace. He set up the first goal with a brilliant run and cross and scored two nice ones of his own. A cracking performance.
