Home cup match played on 11 September 2011.
Kicked off at 2:00 PM

First round in the Hampshire Cup was a home tie vs Christchurch Youth from Bournemouth in a 2pm kick off, the lads came into the game not knowing alot about the opposition but never the less high in confidence.

Starting with a 4-4-2 formation we came out the traps very quick taking full control within the first few mins of the game, on 5mins a great move between Josh and Kieron sent Kieron through on goal but his effort was well saved by the visitors keeper, this lead to an early onslaught of chances Smithy crossed in for Zack who dragged his shot inches wide, then from a corner swung in by Kieron found the head of Jack who headed just over the bar but it didnt take long after to get the breakthrough we deserved, on 13mins Kieron beat the right back and was clear on goal just to calmly slot home a crisp strike passed the on russing keeper to make it 1-0.

This was the goal to open up the flood gates as 5 goals were soon to follow, first Ryan made an inpressive run from right back to play in a great ball to Zack who expertly guided his shot passed the keeper to make it 2-0 on 15mins, then on 22mins Josh found himself in acers of space from a Kieron pull back to guide his shot lopping over the keeper into the net to make it 3-0.

We then grab 3 goals in as many mins first Max gambled on a mistake by the keeper to tap home on 26mins to make it 4-0, then Smithy scored the goal of the day with an idervidual effort taking on the Christchurch defence to slot home our 5th to make it 5-0 on 27mins and then just before the break it was soon to be 6-0 in the 29th min, again the cobination of Ryan and Zack worked with Zack latching onto Ryan cross to tap home his 2nd of the day and send us in 6-0 ahead at the break.

We made changes throughout the game as it was a game were we could afford to make changes across the pitch but at half time Alfie, Cam, Joel and Olly replaced Max, Smithy, Jack and Kieron.

We started the second half in impressive form following on from the first half taking just a min to create another chance, but Zacks effort hit the side net, but on the next attack Zack made up for the early miss by getting his hatrick, smashing home a long range effort to make it 7-0 on 33mins, the pressure continued with Billy having a very quiet game ans with Josh winning free kick just outside the box up stepped Cam and from 25 yards he brilliantly bent in a shot passed the keeper to make it 8-0 on 37mins.

Just as the game started to slow down we broke forward winning a pen from a delibarate hand ball altough Jake hade put the ball into the net the ref awarded the pen so Jake stepped up to take the pen, luckely after rushing his first attempt and missing the ref was not ready so made him retake, with a little more composure he slotted home in off the post to make it 9-0 in just the 40min, then in the 45th min Josh latched onto a rebound from Cams free kick to get our double figures making it 10-0 then in the 49th min Josh got his hatrick Cam slotted a great ball through to Josh who calmly slotted home to make it 11-0.

With the game coming to an end the pressure still continued the brilliant football was flowing but greed started to take over with everyone having pop shots from silly ranges, but it paid off with Jack flicking Cams cross over his head to tuck home to make it 12-0 then on 55 mins Charlie, Smithy, Jack, Kieron and Max replaced Bobby Kerri, Ryan, Jack, Josh and Jake.

There was still time to get a final goal netting was Joel who had gambled on a defensive error to make it 13-0 on 59mins to round off a very impressive performace winning 13-0 and with his brilliant work rate and 3 goals ZACK was voted man of the match but credit also to Cam whos goal and creativity helped the team to the big win, well done lads marching onto the 2nd round.
