Home league match played on 12 February 2017.
Kicked off at 10:30 AM

What a difference a week makes.

We were back in the league and despite having 8 men and no goalie we were magnificent today.

Playing a full 60 with no subs is what we need to boost our fitness.

I am so proud of you all for taking on board what was said at training and for working on your peps.

DON’T slacken off on those.

Keep your activity up and watch those videos! Our overall effort, passing, movement and defending was outstanding today and although we ran out of gas near the end, your second half performance was the best this season.

Some stunning goals and composed defending was the key today and you were all talking to each other which is how it should be.

Max: Top effort in goal today and thank you for volunteering some great saves and three they scored were not your fault, two of them were deflections.

Well done son.

Joe: Commanding at the back and never stopped running.

You were excellent mate and a real rock at the back.

I’m so proud of you.

James: Outstanding again.

So calm on the ball and your long passing was exceptional.

Keep it up Shep!Tom: Your best game so far! Ran your socks off and passed and tackled much better today.

Remember to stay switched on for the full game.

Very pleased with you.

Jack: MOM with a hat trick and two assists.

Great performance, up and down the field.

Much better with your talking and leading the team which is what a captain does so keep that up.

Keep working on your tackling and winning those second balls.

Passing was excellent today.

Mal: Back to your energetic best.

Good tracking back and getting into dangerous positions.

Passing needs working on as well as winning second ball.

You get bullied off the ball too much but overall you were great today so well done buddy.

Blayze: With the week you’ve had and having had no training this week you were great today and two goals, one of which was a screamer.

Loads of energy and endeavour as always.

Twi things that need working on is your tackling (you’re still turning your back going into challenges) and winning second ball.

You need to be stronger and not get bullied off it all the time.

Overall though, you were great and I’ll give you your PEP at training.

Connor: Best game this season by a mile.

Excellent movement and touch up front, some superb flick-ons and through balls and really good hold up play.

You linked everything together today and looked much sharper.

Two goals, one of which was an absolute stunner.

You were talking well through the whole game and your corners were excellent.

Keep working on your fitness and movement and you’ll get better every week.

Well done pal!Overall: Fab today.

Keep working on your peps, get out on your bike, go for a run, get a ball and work on your skills, watch videos on tackling and passing.

The more you practice, the better you get it’s that simple.

I’m so proud of you today.

Next week Joe Aitchison will be in the squad so make him feel part of the family because he’s going to bring a lot to the team and hopefully we’ll have Jake back as well.

I still need two more players so keep asking at school and bring them down with you!See you Wednesday at training.
