Home league match played on 05 September 2015.
Kicked off at 5:00 PM

After a convincing first league win, Incepcion went into the second match of the season full of confidence against a team of Sikh veterans with most over 50 years old. The match started well for Incepcion and within the first ten minutes, Harold was brought down in the penalty box after a trademark mazy dribble. Colin put it away as usual and Incepcion was up one nil. It was then quickly two nil up when Captain Loy seized a free kick opportunity just outside the box and planted a nice shot into the goal while the keeper was still trying to arrange his wall. Legitimate as he indeed told the referee he didn’t need the whistle. With two nil up, Incepcion took its pedal off the foot entirely then. After a flurry of substitutions, the entire team broke down and were punished when Sikhs FC put away 3 goals through their team work and excellent finishing. Half time score, 3-2 to the Sikhs.

Half time talk was to gather the players, pointing out where we have gone wrong and ultimately, to stay in shape. Within minutes of the second half, Incepcion was awarded a penalty after a fine run down the left flanks by Jerome being released by Yiong, where the former was hacked down from behind before shooting at goal. Up came Captain Loy and he made no mistake drawing level. Within minutes, Sikhs FC were up 4-3 when Kee needlessly fouled their striker in the box with no threat at goal. Jeff unfortunately could not save that. From this point onwards, Incepcion just surrendered and were beaten convincingly by a veterans team who just played simple football. They put away two more goals beating the offside trap which tore the defence into shreds. Final score, 6-3 win for the Sikhs.

This week saw again what Incepcion was maybe 6 months ago where too many people have their own opinions and will prefer to play their own game. Not following instructions, lazy, effortless, blaming/criticizing each other on the pitch, arguing among themselves, trying to be hero and give instructions to others thus confusing others even more...the list goes on and on. Well, you all just have to take a damn good look at yourselves and I meant every single one, including myself. The rot stops here. The principles we have set out have again been abused and forgotten. It is exactly how this team was nearly shredded not too long ago and if you all don’t come to your senses, I don’t see how this team is going to make even top 5 in this league. Instructions are to be followed and as always said, there’s only one voice on the pitch and one outside. Well guess what? We are still sticking to this and if anyone of you Indian chiefs wannabe have other brilliant ideas on how your own team mates should or should not play, positioning, formations, tactics etc.. please save them and use them next term when you get elected into the new committee. There’s a reason why this infrastructure is being set up so for now, just shut up and listen.

There's no MOM this week as everyone has an awfully bad day so let's now just regroup, and focus on the next game against the British Club this weekend. Lose we will again - BUT NOT lose like how we did again last week.

See you all.
