Home league match played on 14 November 2010.
Kicked off at 10:30 AM

Boro recorded their biggest ever victory on Sunday with a 12-0 hammering of Ironside but the match is subject to league authorities after a bizarre ending. A superb team performance which produced easily the best football so far this season was marred by the incident that took place in the 87th minute. After Phillip N’Gbale won a penalty the defender was cautioned and a fellow Ironside player was alleged to have sworn at the referee but refused to walk prompting the referee to abandon the cleanest game of football in memory.

Goals:

1/        Kousso beat his man and sends across a gift for Adam Chandler to tap into the net from 2 yards.

2/        Butt plays a superb ball in behind for Deegan to round the keeper and slot in from 12 yards with the angle against him.

3/        Kousso’s superb cross is met at the back post by a diving header by Butt.

4/        Butt robs the defender and plays in Deegan whom darts into the box to cut back for Butt to bundle into the net via the defender.

5/        A defenders clearance bounces back of Andy to put N’Gbale through and he rounds the keeper superbly to slot into an empty net.

6/        Andy’s corner is met by the smallest player on the pitch in Kousso but the keeper parries only for goal-machine Butt to chest down and smash in from 6 yards.

7/        A great solo run from Andy and as Deegan’s run opens a gap in defence the midfielder surges through to pass into the bottom corner.

8/        A superb through ball by Illingworth results in a race between goalkeeper and Deegan which the Boro forward wins to slot into an empty net.

9/        A great run on the left by Nathan results in Butt taking the ball off his toes to turn inside the defender and slam a shot past the keeper at his near post from 10 yards.

10/      The move of the match starts with Andy who plays in N’Gbale and after beating his man on the right he squares for Deegan to take a touch and fire home in an instant.

11/      A cross by Deegan is made a mess of by the defender and the ball loops over the goalkeeper for an own-goal.

12/      A cross into the box by N’Gbale is met on the volley by Deegan to complete a masterclass in finishing from the Boro no 9.
