What can i say. To be honest i am still shocked and disappointed at the defeat. After the last half a dozen games i expected an easy win against the bottom of the league side who admitted themselves to being poor. I looked at the Dendy squad and thought even without Tom Wake and little Add we had enough to win comfortable.

Dendy started slow and poorly as can be a habit for them. Giving heart to Winnington by conceding two poor goals. One a free kick that was not covered by a small wall. The second poor defending and not the best hands from Perry in the Dendy net. The first 25 mins were as poor as Dendy have been this season. When they got one back on the 30 min mark i thought we can't keep playing this bad and we would pick up and win the game.

Sadly Dendy continued to look poor all over the pitch with only the odd glimpse of the real Dendy from man of the match Luke.
I would say we lost today because they wanted it more. Dendy looked too much like individuals either trying to do it on their own or hoping someone else would do something.

The pitch was poor for playing passing football and Winnington did play the pitch better by getting it forward quicker and more direct. But even when Dendy had the lead and Winningto had ten men they still looked the ones more likely to score. They kept breaking well and Dendy had Perry to thank for some good saves or it could have been more.

A day i hope not to see again for awhile. Too many players didn't perform today. Not sure if they expected it to be easy and when it wasn't they couldn't raise it. The shape was disjointed with defence being left out numbered at times even when Dendy had more men. Midfield was lacking in both halves with two wide and two front players leaving us out numbered in the middle.

Big cup game next week. Dendy need to be up from the start. Another performance like today and the result can only go one way. Lets get back quickly to playing like we have been. Lets get the shape back, get solid again.

Donkey was Ian who admitted himself to having a poor game. To be fair he wasn't alone.

Luke won comfortable man of the match award. Nice goal and some good movement.

Food at the Egerton was sausages curry sauce and Chips. It was very nice. Needed a few more chips.

P.s If Spucie needs help in a valentine movie i am more then willing to give him some tips.
