Home league match played on 26 November 2016.
Kicked off at 10:00 AM

Change of formation today, switching to a previously used 4-3-3. Focus
on getting more width to our game and trying to accommodate players
who are still working on their defensive skills. No ted with a broken
finger and EH available for half a game, it was clear some players
were going to need to step up..

It was a good first half, we were the better footballing team with the
opposition seeming to rely on their rather exceptional striker. Jets
play like hook, not a lot of football until final third, but very
competitive and organised.
First half, defence was assured with really good organisation to cover
and hand off players. Plan was to get the ball wide ideally clipping
balls behind fullbacks and also play into striker sitting off the
defence. Did that well but lacked cutting edge, decisions need to be
made quicker and players need to see the triggers. Phantoms won the
midfield and looked their best when we switched play with minimum
touches.
Second half no EH and midfield felt it slightly. As the second half
went on we got more and more hoofy which suited the Jets more than us.
Plenty of corners won but struggled to get ball in the box. Good
possession and territory but no cutting edge. Final score 0-0 as teams
roundly booed off the pitch (joking)
