Home league match played on 14 October 2012.
Kicked off at 10:30 AM

We defended very well throughout, some wayward passing at times, but on the plus side we are now becoming competitive which is a must if you want to play our style of football.

Various no shows caused a few problems. Genti picking up an injury 10 mins into 2nd half and being replaced by a coffin dodger must have struck fear in Rifle’s hearts.

The game became stretched which was always going to suit Vilson Van Persie up front. We created many chances and hit the bar and post. We deserved win as lately we have been unlucky.

The teams that have beaten us this season we should make sure we beat next time round, like we did today.

I expect to climb up the table now and to play flowing football with the right amount of aggression.

Missing Sunday:

1)      Ryan (Ribs -Ian)

     2)      Matty (car broke down in Windsor)

     3)      Metin (worked all night)

     4)      Mark Mc (in Rouen for bike ride – more sponsors please!)

     5)      Luke B (ankle – possibly 2 more weeks)

     6)      Joe (ankle – possibly next week)

     7)      James (Nan taken to hospital)

Big game on Sunday, could be tricky on a small sticky pitch at Sun Postal in the County Cup 2nd Round.
