MEFF #110 was a veritable goal-fest as Luke's Flukey Pukes beatFletcher's Winter Beards 6-4. Griffiths claimed a first half hat-trick for the Beards thanks to some generous defending and a number of sublime toe-pokes, while at the other end Daniel Smith and Plucky Prescott combined beautifully to bag 2 for the former and 1 for the latter, leaving the teams level at half time.
After the break Patto wriggled away from his markers to score two and give the Pukes the lead (despite a fourth goal for Griffiths at the other end), before Patto's clearance set Allaway one-on-one with Ash, and he calmly rounded the keeper before accurately finishing despite Griffin's shout of "he'll miss it!"
