Away league match played on 13 October 2013.
Kicked off at 10:30 AM

With torrential downpours through the night, a striker in Steve Lacken filling in for missing goalkeepers, the q3 academy had become near enough a bog at one end, and with the referee edging towards postponing the game, he apprehensively allowed kick of to continue. The teams lined up as the rain continued to lash down and kick off commenced, and quickly it became apparent Pheasey would not show up for the first half yet again, AFC Collingwood looking strong and commanding, nothing like the team Pheasey battered in pre season, with no clear cut chances for either team looking likely, Dave Collins whipped in one of his trade mark beauty crosses towards Tommy, the centre back realising ommy was about to meet it at the edge of the area, leapt at the ball, launching a diving header any striker would have been proud of past his keeper, The Pheaseyans had taken a surprise lead!!

It wasn't to last though, moments later, a poor kick from the stand in goalkeeper fell straight to their striker, and despite the best efforts from Luke Cawse, he buried it. They weren't done there though, not long after, Dave Collins was unlucky when his clearance hit their defender and looped in over a stranded goalkeeper, and with more to come from Collingwood, a strike from outside the box took a deflection and managed to squirm past a despairing Lacken in goal, feeling it wasn't going to be his day and completely black from the mud. Then a moment of reprise, followed by nervous moments for the keeper who managed to tip a great strike over the bar, only to clatter into the post and knock himself unconscious for a minute or so. Half time could not come quick enough for Pheasey, and they got their wish.

HT 3-1 to Collingwood.

Half time came and went, and Pheasey started the second half with much more confidence and verve about their play. Kieran Basi having a wondrous strike ruled out as the ref failed to see the ball go through the hole in the net, poor decision making there! This only fired them on though, and Spencer finding space, whipped a ball in from the left, only to see it nestle nicely in the bottom corner, nothing more than the industrious midfielder deserved mind you! He the added his second, a cross from the right this time, managing to lob the keeper and make t 3-3, comeback complete, now time to push for the winner!!! With Pheasey pushing and Collingwood on the back foot, Lacken had a long goal kick evade everyone, with Kieran Basi chasing it and firing a 20 yard strike past the keeper from the tightest of angles, making up for finding that hole in the net and completing the turn around, Pheasey withdrew, defending for their lies, when Colingwood won a corner. As the ball was floated in, there was a good save from the keeper, who gathered the ball, only to be pushed over the line by a player and the referee giving the goal. Pheasey demonstrated their fury, the referee missing a blatent foul, and after 5 minutes of arguing, the referee decided to talk to the linesman who confirmed the push. Drama over! With Collingwood still pushing, Pheasey defended admirably and saw the game close out at 4-3!
