Pro Shottas Senior welcomed Technique FC to Passage Road on 12 August 2026 for a league neutral fixture that kicked off at 9:05pm. The 11-a-side encounter ended emphatically in favour of Pro Shottas Senior, who ran out 4-1 winners after a commanding display over 90 minutes plus injury time.

Deploying a 4-2-3-1 formation, Pro Shottas Senior set up with Nashton Browne in goal, protected by a back four comprising Jenard Satney at right back, Robiniho Phillips and Romelle Burgess as central defenders, and Nathan Blackman on the left. The midfield double pivot featured Ronan Lee and Kobe Burgess tasked with both defensive cover and linking play. Ahead of them, the attacking midfield trio consisted of Shakir Harewood on the right, Ackeem Holder centrally as the attacking midfielder, and Teondre Hinkson on the left, all supporting lone striker Xaveir Webster. The substitutes named were Ishaem Ellis, Korey Reid, Shaquille Payne, Zachary Best, Shavid Maynard, Taraji Chase, Zayne Galt and Dylan Boucaud.

From the outset, Pro Shottas Senior showed intent with goalkeeper Nashton Browne confidently catching an early cross in the opening minute. The match quickly became physical as Shakir Harewood committed two early fouls in the fourth and fifth minutes, both pushes, signalling a combative approach. Despite this, the home side pressed forward with attempts from Ackeem Holder and Teondre Hinkson both saved in the fifth minute, indicating early offensive pressure.

Browne was again alert to catch a cross at seven minutes, while Harewood was penalised for holding shortly after, highlighting Technique FC’s attempts to disrupt the flow. Jenard Satney also found himself in trouble with two pushes in quick succession at nine and eleven minutes, reflecting a tense opening phase. The breakthrough came in the 15th minute when Ackeem Holder delivered a long pass into a goalmouth scramble, allowing Xaveir Webster to slot home from close range with his left foot, giving Pro Shottas Senior the lead.

The attacking momentum continued as Harewood’s wide attempt at 18 minutes was followed by Browne’s safe catch of another cross. Webster’s shot was saved at 19 minutes, and Kobe Burgess saw his effort denied at 21 minutes. Nathan Blackman’s late tackle at 21 minutes and Teondre Hinkson’s offside at 22 minutes showed the defensive and attacking battles ongoing. Harewood was again penalised for a push at 24 minutes.

Pro Shottas Senior doubled their advantage in the 27th minute when Hinkson crossed from the right, allowing Webster to head home from close range. Despite further offside calls against Hinkson at 30 and 37 minutes, the home side maintained pressure. Browne’s repeated catches of crosses at 37 minutes and Holder’s handball foul at 39 minutes kept the game intense. Kobe Burgess’s saved attempt at 41 minutes was quickly followed by a headed goal from right back Jenard Satney, assisted by Burgess’s cross, extending the lead to 3-0 just before half-time.

The first half closed with Pro Shottas Senior firmly in control. Early in the second half, fouls continued with Kobe Burgess pushing at 47 minutes and Ackeem Holder committing a late tackle at 50 minutes. Browne remained vigilant, catching another cross at 52 minutes. Harewood was penalised for holding at 53 minutes, and Holder was penalised for a high tackle moments later, with Webster also guilty of handball at 54 minutes.

Technique FC pulled one back in the 55th minute with a well-struck right-footed effort from outside the box, offering a glimmer of hope. However, Pro Shottas Senior responded immediately as Webster crossed for Hinkson to score from close range with his right foot at 58 minutes, restoring a three-goal cushion.

The physicality of the match persisted with Jenard Satney’s high tackle at 61 minutes and Kobe Burgess receiving a yellow card for dissent at 63 minutes, followed by another high tackle from Burgess at 64 minutes. Pro Shottas Senior made double substitutions at 70 minutes, bringing on Shaquille Payne for Hinkson and Korey Reid for Satney, freshening the squad.

Browne continued to demonstrate his reliability with multiple catches of crosses at 72, 73, 74, and 77 minutes, thwarting Technique FC’s attempts to reduce the deficit further. Shaquille Payne committed a push at 74 minutes and a high tackle at 80 minutes, while Kobe Burgess was penalised for obstruction at 81 minutes. Webster was penalised for a push at 82 minutes, and Pro Shottas Senior made two more substitutions, introducing Zachary Best for Webster and Shavid Maynard for Kobe Burgess between the 82nd and 83rd minutes.

In the closing stages, Browne made a crucial parry at 88 minutes to deny Technique FC once more. Zachary Best was caught offside for a mistimed run in stoppage time, but Pro Shottas Senior comfortably saw out the remainder of the match.

Pro Shottas Senior’s 4-1 victory was built on a solid defensive foundation, industrious midfield work, and clinical finishing from their attacking players, particularly Xaveir Webster who netted twice. The team’s discipline and tactical execution in the 4-2-3-1 formation proved decisive against Technique FC at Passage Road.
