Real Madrinks welcomed Kangkungwa to their home ground on 21 February 2026 for a 12 noon kick-off in a pulsating league encounter that ended in a remarkable 10-3 victory for the hosts. The 90-minute clash, played under the traditional 11-a-side format, saw Real Madrinks dominate proceedings with an attacking display that overwhelmed their visitors.

Real Madrinks lined up in a classic 4-4-2 formation, deploying Vincent Kidiaba in goal to marshal the defence. The back four consisted of Isaac Chipwatanga at right back, Jala Pensulo and Isaac Bush as central defenders, and Chris Sichinga on the left. Across midfield, Jumali Nkhoma took up the right midfield berth, with Nelson Phiri and Danado Chisenga occupying the central midfield roles, while Brandon Imataa operated on the left flank. Up front, the strike partnership featured Micheal Mukuka on the right and Quincy . leading the line on the left. The substitutes bench included Jordan Musongo, Nason Bwalya, Mwenya Hudson, Leonard Banda, Duncan Matuidi, Doc Nimrod Nimoo Simuchimba, Bwalya John Kachamba, and Egar Kawiku.

From the outset, Real Madrinks set the tone with a swift attacking approach. The breakthrough came in the 11th minute when Isaac Chipwatanga’s incisive run and precise assist found Micheal Mukuka, who clinically finished to open the scoring. The visitors struggled to contain the hosts’ fluidity, and at 24 minutes, Jala Pensulo’s well-timed pass set up Mukuka once again, doubling the lead with a composed finish.

Just three minutes later, Quincy . added to the tally, converting a neat assist from Danado Chisenga to make it 3-0. Kangkungwa managed to pull one back in the 33rd minute, offering a glimmer of hope, but Real Madrinks responded emphatically. Mukuka completed his hat-trick in the 38th minute, capitalising on another assist from Chisenga, before Quincy . struck again in first-half stoppage time, expertly guided home from a pass by Nelson Phiri. The half closed with Real Madrinks firmly in control at 5-1.

At the interval, Real Madrinks made a triple substitution, introducing Mwenya Hudson, Nason Bwalya, and Jordan Musongo for Jumali Nkhoma, Jala Pensulo, and Chris Sichinga respectively. Kangkungwa quickly narrowed the deficit to 5-2 with a goal just two minutes after the restart. However, the hosts restored their commanding lead in the 55th minute when Mwenya Hudson, assisted by Jordan Musongo, found the net.

Kangkungwa refused to lie down and scored again in the 58th minute, making it 6-3, but Real Madrinks’ midfield maestro Danado Chisenga continued to orchestrate play. His assist enabled Nelson Phiri to extend the lead to 7-3 in the 61st minute. Shortly after, Leonard Banda replaced Isaac Bush in defence, maintaining the team’s solidity.

The attacking substitutions continued as Duncan Matuidi came on for Quincy . in the 70th minute, followed swiftly by Doc Nimrod Nimoo Simuchimba also replacing Quincy . a minute later, and Bwalya John Kachamba taking over from Micheal Mukuka in the 77th minute. The changes injected fresh impetus, and Matuidi wasted no time making an impact, scoring in the 78th minute from a Bwalya John Kachamba assist.

Matuidi struck again immediately after, this time assisted by Danado Chisenga, to push the score to 9-3. With Danado Chisenga departing for Egar Kawiku in the 80th minute, Real Madrinks maintained their relentless pressure. Matuidi completed his hat-trick in the 86th minute, converting a pass from Mwenya Hudson to seal an emphatic 10-3 victory.

Micheal Mukuka’s early hat-trick and Duncan Matuidi’s late treble were the standout performances in a match that showcased Real Madrinks’ attacking prowess and tactical flexibility. Kangkungwa’s efforts were valiant but ultimately insufficient against a dominant home side who will take great confidence from this comprehensive win.
