3 July (Agilent) - In coming rainy season of the gloomy sky in Penang and the flooding gates openned by both teams for goals. 14 goals scored by 7 each in a highly entertained friendly match of Saturns and Bosch team. What happened to the tactical defence mechanism of Saturns? When will the defense stalwards KC Chan be back where the Saturns have missed clearly?

Saturns was without the first choice GK Ko and TKTan has to standin to man the post. Saturns was without many first team players due to international duty and have to configure a makeshift strike force. Davis and Dhillion were tasked to lead the attack with the self proclaim assist king Lau attempted to provide all the attacking ammunition. The versatile CLTan was asked to help out defense and played left back.

Saturns started well with Davis scoring with a first time left footer strike after an early assault by CLTan from the left. Dhillion playing behind the main strike force registered Saturns' second goal after an interchanged passing by Davis. It seemed as though the new formula worked well for a good start and Saturns were 2-0 up in the lead.

Bosch received the hammer and wake up call, regroup and seeing the relax mode of Saturns, launch several fierce attacks. Bosch were so effective in the long range strike and it was also the 100kmph shooting speed that killed Saturns. No9 of Bosch lead the attack, received a pass from left and dribbled to the middle just right outside the box and shoot with power. Saturns defense could not close down in time and TKTan were forced to dive. the attempt to parry away the ball failed due to the massive shooting force and the ball deflected in. 2-1 Bosch staged a come back.

The shell-shocked Saturn did not smell the danger and continue to be relax. Bosch' sharp shooting yielded another goal with long range strike from outside the box. 2-2 Bosch leveled the score and Saturns were still dreaming.

another Bosch goal saw saturn defeated with another long range strike in counter attack. Saturns were indulged in attacking flair but leaving defensive midfield area empty. quick goal scored by Bosch with 2-3 leading. A high ball crossing from Bosch left wing over the towering Eu Beng and EMLoke could not outjump the No9 and resulted a well timed header flew pass TKTan. Saturns were suddenly behind to 2-4.

Reading the lags in defense and a need of midfield anchor, SengBak dropped back to man the post in swapping out TKTan to partner EuBeng and pushing EMLoke to run the midfield engine room.

The strategy pay a small dividen where TKTan registered a goal with a timed header, courtesy by the corner kick of CLTan. 3-4 Saturns seemed to have started the come back.

A midfield long range strike from Bosch caught Saturns by surprised. the ball hit the post where SengBak could not catch and the fast running Bosch stiker just needed a simple tap in. no one from Saturns could react and defeated by yet another long range strike. Saturn oh saturn.... where is the learning of closing the opponent down? 3-5 the first half ended with a lot of learnings.

Haniff teamed up with BoonKiat in second half to provide the sparks in the attacking department. The sparks went off and BoonKiat scored a goal via a well passed by Haniff. 4-5 Saturn in the chasing mode.

Too relax by SK and caught in surprised by the speedy Bosch No9, he dribbled passed SK and shoot with strength. Seng Bak managed to parry the ball away but the in rushing Bosch player manage to score with a simple tap in. 4-6 the goal given to Bosch.

Haniff the stiker that always scored with intelligent header, helped to narrow the score to 5-6 with an intelligent lob, after a master pass by CLTan.

A mistake by SengBak in kicking the ball to hit TK, resulting the ball bounce off and landed to Bosch striker with a simple tap in. a free goal for Bosch and it was 5-7 in the score board. Perhaps TK is too tall?

BSLau were fauled and BoonKiat took the direct freekick. the ball went in beautifully into the net and 6-7 Saturns seemed to push for level. No assist by Lau.

Bosch were heavily pressured and Saturns have many chances. BoonKiat wasted the chance to level in a rather open opportunity but failed to score. Lau just needed a simple low shot near the post but he decided to blast the ball to car park. and Lau was trying to explain his action the ball was bouncing and hard to control but did not explain why the ball can fly off to carpark.

Saturn finally managed to level the score to 7-7 via Dhillion after yet another master passing by CLTan. 4 assists in a game by CLTan. not forgotten the hardworking running by CL to help out defense and overlapping with Allan.

MOM : not BSLau, CLTan!
