Agilent (26 December 2012) - Boxing day 5 cheers from the Real Saturn over the Intel NCS team, with Chong Seng and Wong both scoring a brace of goals. SK of Saturn added the 5th goal and successfully kick out Lau from the top assist statistics.

This was a rematch from last week's 6-6 triller between the Saturns and NCS teams, but this time around there was no Christmas cheers to the NCS. The untamed Saturns showed early sign of the winning form that helped them beat NByN, in scoring a screamer via Chong Seng in the 5th minutes of the play. CL Tan did a fantastic job as an orthodox left midfielder, in breaking down from the left flank, placed an inch-oerfect cross that Chong Seng hit with the trademark power pass the NCS's keeper. 1-0 the Saturn took an early lead. Who is Saturn's Lau? many has been wondering that no one seemed to miss Lau's crosses and certainly enjoy the no screamer-silence... certainly Chong Seng did not need Lau's assist to score...

NCS did not produce the form that took them into fame of high scoring a week back, and succum to second goal deficit in the 15th minute. This time around Wong turned to be the provider for Chong Seng. A cross by Davis from the right with the combined efforts via midfield KW passes, seen Wong intelligently chest down the flying ball to Chong Seng. With no mercy, Chong Seng whipped the NCS keeper by putting the ball behind the net. Saturns took the lead to 2-0, his personal tally to 15th goal, and Wong has registered a leveled assist with Lau's to 11th assist of the season. Lau's position as leading Top Assists has now been shaken. A fact that Lau will not like but have to eat it.

Chong Seng had a go on hatrick before the 1st half ended in having 2 chances squandered, while Saturns kept the pressures in seeking their 3rd goal. Some good saves from NCS's keeper also kept Chong Seng out from scoring his 3rd.

Into the 30th minute, Andrew moved up to be the midfield anchor man for Saturns from being started as Left Back, while substitution brought in last match's MOM HS Kor. Andrew's tireless ran not only brought stability to Saturn's defense shield, but also brought havoc to NCS's midfield when the Saturns' on the offensive play. A perfect ball by Andrew to Wong, seeing a quick turn and shot with power by Wong and the ball flew passed NCS's keeper, just right outside the box. 3-0 the Saturn commanded an astute leadership to the game.

Into the second half, NCS generated a spark of life via midfield ran. Seeing NCS's Syazwan generated problems to Saturns' right back Allan in the 1st half, the co-captains of of the match KC and TK decided to make a tactical switch in inter-swapping left and right back, strategically placing Allan to guard left back while Kor to guard the right back position. "The tactics was made in the attempt to shield Syazwan from attacking at the right.", explained the tactics in the post match interview by the captains. However, an unfamiliar role to Allan whereby NCS switched the assaults from left and in 50th minute, a shot by NCS was blocked by Keeper Ko, with the rebound unsuccessfully cleared by Allan, allowing NCS to pounce. Saturns defence was not able to protect the goal and NCS replied 1 to the scoreline. 3-1, Saturn still in the lead, but with NCS breathing behind the neck.

Lau's fans started to sing the song "Where is Lau we needed more assists...." where Lau was not even on the bench. Perhaps Lau was in christmas vacation. Some substitution saw Jerome and KW interswapping with CL and Davis. Jerome was guilty of unable to enlarge the gaps of the scoreline for Saturns on several occasions. Saturns' midfielders had been working hard in providing assists...

10 minutes later, Saturn's CL releashed a shot on target, and a rebounce save by NCS's keeper however unable to hold the ball and Wong again instinctively placed the shot behind the net like a proacher. Wong's tally has soared to 39 goals of the season and CL registered his 11th Assists of the season by now. Some fans has been sms'ing Lau to update the Top Assist statistics. Lau must have been regretting of not playing in this game. Saturns now have 3 Top Assists with each 11 assists on the table. The whole world is awaiting either CL or Wong to kick Lau out from the lead. "KW seemed to have a quiet game, perhaps the next assist will be from KW?", said the commentator from ESPNLive. Haniff was being preferred as midfielder in this game, perhaps Haniff wanted a piece of the assist cake as well.... everyone seemed to be interested and enjoying to register Assist rather than scoring goal, in the clear objective of out-throwing the current assist lead.

in the 80th minute, Saturn's 5th goal of the game arrived finally. SK releashed a right-footed strike within the dangerous D area of NCS's and the keeper could only barely touch the ball. 5-1 and this time around the assist came from Wong! SK eruptted in tearful joy as the dictator of Top Assist has been brought down from the table.

5-1 the final score board reads, 2 assists and 2 goals from Wong made an obvious MOM.
