In a commanding display, Pull Together secured a resounding 5-0 victory over Rosina Sedibane in their league encounter at the Tshwane University of Technology Soshanguvhe Campus on 31 May 2025. The match kicked off at 1:00pm, with the home side demonstrating their dominance throughout the contest.
Rosina Sedibane lined up in a 4-2-1-3 formation, designed to provide a solid defensive base while allowing for attacking flair. Cindy Mhlongo took her place in goal, shielded by a back four consisting of Dakalo Malumedzha on the right, Kgalalelo Selokela on the left, and the central defensive pairing of Nomthandazo Zwane and Bontle Ralekwa. In midfield, Keabetswe Molekoa and Ditebogo Malatji operated as central midfielders, with Lethabo Mokhonwana positioned as the attacking midfielder. Up front, Onalenna Mphahlele and Phuti Manamela flanked striker Rayleigh Bojosi, who was tasked with leading the line.
The substitutes for Rosina Sedibane included Lerato Mphuthi, Gosiame Mallela, Bokang Mokgonyana, Tshegofatso mgcina, and Oarabile Majafa, who would be called upon as the match progressed.
The match began with Pull Together quickly asserting their authority. In the 19th minute, they opened the scoring, taking advantage of a defensive lapse from Rosina Sedibane. The home side doubled their lead just ten minutes later, with another well-placed effort that left Mhlongo with little chance to respond.
As the first half drew to a close, Pull Together struck again in the 42nd minute, capitalising on a disorganised Rosina defence to make it 3-0 before the half-time whistle blew. The visitors were left reeling, needing a significant turnaround to salvage anything from the match.
Following the break, Rosina Sedibane made a tactical substitution, bringing on Lerato Mphuthi for Onalenna Mphahlele in the 55th minute, hoping to inject some fresh energy into their attack. However, Pull Together continued their relentless assault, scoring their fourth goal in the 63rd minute, further extending their lead.
In the 68th minute, Keabetswe Molekoa received a yellow card for unsporting behaviour, a reflection of the frustration building within the Rosina ranks. Just two minutes later, Pull Together added a fifth goal, leaving Rosina Sedibane with a mountain to climb.
In a bid to change the tide, Rosina made a double substitution in the 70th minute, with Gosiame Mallela replacing Dakalo Malumedzha and Bokang Mokgonyana coming on for Rayleigh Bojosi. However, the changes did little to stem the flow of the game.
Mallela found himself in the referee's book in the 77th minute, receiving a yellow card for denying a goalscoring opportunity, further compounding Rosina's woes. As the match approached its final stages, Rosina made two more substitutions: Tshegofatso mgcina came on for Kgalalelo Selokela due to injury in the 80th minute, and Oarabile Majafa replaced Ditebogo Malatji shortly after.
Despite the changes, Rosina Sedibane could not find a way back into the match, and the final whistle confirmed a disappointing afternoon for the visitors. Pull Together's emphatic victory showcased their attacking prowess and left Rosina Sedibane with much to ponder as they regroup for their next fixture.
