Away league match played on 06 February 2016.
Kicked off at 2:00 PM

After the dissapointing display last week at Tattingstone we went to local Rivals Sizewell low on confidence, We had players missing and our first choice keeper having a hand injury that may well end his goalkeeping career meant we had to make changes.

The ref was keen to get going even though it was a 1430 KO he was ready at 1400but we weren't so he had to wait. Hazzy pulled up in the warm up so Michael was called in at the last minute to make his first start of the year. When the game got underway we came under early pressure as we expected bet the back 4 and Sam making his debut in goal dealt with everything that got through. Kyle and Michael worked hard in mifield to break up the play and worked well with the back 4. As the half went on we started to get our attacking game going with Tommy and Stevie wrking the full back and another debut maked Gus was being a nuisance up front once he got his bearings, We have also found a way to stop Jack Moaning stick him up top and make him run around and he has no breath left to moan. We were creating chances but with a combination of th goalkeper and not trhe right decisions we couldn't open tye scoring. Sam made a good save down low to his left after a good Sizewell move but aprt from that he wasn't troubled too much as the Sizewell Strikers couldn't get out of the big pockets we put on Kurt and Taylors Kits. anything down the wings was easily dealt with by Sam and Jordan and I even saw Tommy and Stevie tracking back.

The breakthrough came after a ball down the left, Tommy tied tight back in knots and won a free kick near the corner flag, Stevie took the kick and put a good ball into the area, Michael made a good run and flicked the ball off his knee into the bottom corner his first goal in adult football. The rest of the half went by without too many chances and we went into half time with the lead

The second half started as we knew it would with Sizewell putting the pressure on but we coped well and made a few of our own chances, Tommy going close early on but it went just wide. Luke replaced Gus up top on 55 minutes and Jordan went down injured on 60 so Charlie me on and we had a reshuffle with Kyle dropping into centreback anaylor coming croos to cover left back Charlie went into Midfield. Josh Was the final change on 65 and Jack made way for him. On 70 minutes an incident with a tackle that the ref deemed danger saw us go down to 10 men Luke getting his marching orders, we left Josh up top on his own to hassle and even with 10 men we sill looked comfortable. in the 80th Minute it was 10 v 10 after Charlie closed the defender down and won the ball, The defender took Charlie down and as he was last man too saw red. We had a couple more chances to fish the game but Tommy was greedy and went for the chip that went wide he could have squared it to Josh for a tap in and I think everyone there knew how Josh felt about Tommy's decision.

It was good game to watch and a game played in a good competitive spirit and we were happy to come out on top of this clash. We need to back this up with the same level of performance next week at Home
