Away friendly match played on 26 March 2011.
Kicked off at 12:00 AM

It was an early start for the Cosmos; 8am' a kick off Tom Huckle thought not worthy of his time. Cosmos started with 10 men and a new signing in the lively Korean in goal.

Cosmos started poorly, with The General in particular prone to poor touches on the skiddy surface. The opposition managed to take a 3-0 lead into the the first break thanks to sloppy work from Jody Koks suffering from a bout of the birthday blues.

After a managerial masterclass which saw Luke Wall moved into midfield(he was responsible for all the goals against!). Cosmos rallied and saw Ben Rossington deliver a cross which confounded the opposition back 4 and allowed Koks to control from 6 yards out and poke the ball home.

Nick Petman then hit a delicious 20 yard drive which flew past the keeper, who perhaps should have done better. An effervescent James Merritt then went on a slaloming run past several men, eventually teeing up Peetman unselfishly with all the hard work done for a tap in that a girl scout wouldn't have been proud of.

Cosmos then took the lead when The General squared for the tardy Tom Huckle, recently arrived from his latest sordid tale of debauchery and shame.

A lapse in concentration then saw the opposition score twice in quick succession, thanks in no small part to some lackluster goalkeeping from(stand in!!!) Malcolm"sun is in my eyes" Harrison.

The tide eventually turned and after an onslaught of attacking from the flanks and midfielders. Wall struck a sublime riffle into the top corner to level the game going into the final third.

At the death, the winner was scored by Koks(or maybe it was Huckle)Unleashed on goal with a downtrodden keeper to beat, he ensured Wall's scything pass was not wasted, and the cosmos took all 3 proverbial points to keep up a solid season. Also Malcolm and Nick are twats.
