The Vic-Chase Terrace FC 6 - 4 Shire Oak Saints
The game started and both teams were looking to play football, it was Shire Oak who took the lead after 9 minutes when a corner was played to the front post and was flicked on by Matt Foxall. Ryan Shenton was the first player to the ball tapped it into an empty net. The Vic-Chase terrace were soon back on terms when a long ball was not cleared by the defence and the striker finished into the corner. Both teams had chances to take the lead but Ryan Williams, Ash Hayward and Richard Marshall all missed the target. Shire Oak got back in front when Adam Bubridge played Ash Hayward through on goal and he rounded the keeper and placed it into the net. It was almost half time when the referee gave a stupid penalty for hand ball when Ryan Shenton was 2 yards away from the player who had a shot and was protecting his face. The striker stepped up and scored.
Half Time, The Vic-Chase Terrace FC 2 - 2 Shire Oak Saints
The second half started badly as the Vic-Chase Terrace striker was allowed too much time in the box and scored. It was soon 4-2 to the home team when the midfielder was allowed to run straight through the midfield and hit a low shot into the bottom corner. The Referee was having a nightmare of a game giving everything to Vic-Chase Terrace (and he was a former player of the Vic-Chase Terrace). The home team extended their lead even more when a goalmouth scramble was scuffed into the net. Jatinder Singh then got a goal back after being played through by Man Of The Match Ryan Williams and hit a low shot into the net making it 5 - 3. Shire Oak should then have had a penalty when a player handed the ball just like in the first half for Vic-Chase Terrace but he gave nothing. Vic-Chase Terrace then scored a long range goal into the top corner making it 6-3. Ryan Williams scored in the last minute after being played through by Jatinder Singh and hit a hard shot past the keeper.
Over all a good game ruined by the referee and his stupid decisions.
