Away league match played on 07 February 2015.
Kicked off at 5:00 PM

The game started with CFCSG faster of the two to settle down with a gameplan in mind. Possibly looking to avenge their league opener defeat to the SG Toffees.

CFCSG took the lead as fast as 7min into the game with a long ball punted by their custodian and with virtually the entire SESC backline frozen to allow the ball bounce inbetween the two centre backs and with Ronnie coming out of his line to try to catch it but out of nowhere a CFCSG's lanky striker rose highest to head it into the empty net.

The entire SESC was stunned and the damage seemed to be more as CFCSG continued their dominance upfront with a few incisive moves inside the box.
A couple was narrowly missed with one that Ronnie touched an innocent looking ball into the post and out of a corner.

At the 30min mark, CFCSG scored their second with a quick move upfront and sliced through with Ronnie to beat and neatly tugged in, 2-0.

Team SESC tried to play their game and made several changes to try to shake up their confidence but it finished with them down at two-nil.

The 2nd half started with a more purposeful play from SESC after some good talking during the break. Jesper providing alot of meat with timely tackles and covering the midfield area superbly. Barry looked lively with plenty of pressure applied to the opposing midfielders and defenders giving them no time on the ball.

A corner midway through the second half saw SESC pulling a goal back with a well-worked setpiece from Ravin finding Khaled who found his way back to the squad following a serious injury, with a neat header at the far post and into the net.

5 minutes later, a CFCSG attacking move which sliced opened the SESC defence again but Ronnie recognised the threat and was first to the ball before their advancing midfielder could reach the ball but his trailing leg caught Ronnie which appeared to be a naughty foot that stepped into the custodian's football forcing him out of action.
Giles came in for Ronnie at this juncture and his place went to Eugene.

Then controversy struck in the final 10 min of the game, the referee supposedly already booked their striker cautioned him with a second yellow but no sending off. However the appeal after the game ruled that off. The culprit was adjudged to have brought down Kok Hao and an early foul which earned him a yellow during the first half.

Team SESC at this point, found their confidence and pressed the Chelsea SG guys from their backline, forcing them into a handful of errors. However they were also quick to clean up.

Towards the 69th min mark, another wave of attack found Kok Hao dribbled into the box and drawing a foul. This time the referee pointed to the spot as it was an obvious decision.

Khaled stepped up and wanting to add to his tally; he then coolly slot it into the far corner of the net giving the keeper no chance at all.. 2-2!
Team SESC got a few good moves created by Barry for his persisting effort in the middle of the park and the tireless Jesper also sweeping things up at the Blues half.

However at the final minute of the normal play, their striker went on to score a winner following a confusion at the back.

A painful defeat for SESC to swallow but we see alot of positives in the team now and hopefully a change of fortune will come after the CNY perioud with Newcastle SG later today.
