The SSAFC were on lethal goalscoring form over at Ridlins to make it 20 goals in 2 games in the London Cup with a very convincing 10-0 win this morning against Gillingham and it was a devestating 20 minute spell which killed the game with the SSAFC straight on form.

The first goal came within 5 minutes and it was that man Teale who's on red hot form and with the ball, he managed to beat the defender and rabona kicked it past the keeper and into the net, a classy finish from a classy player! It became 2 within minutes when Gillingham failed to clear the ball and Swales hassled and got the ball before slotted home to make it 2-0 and the perfect start to the game. The third came in a matter of moments when good break up play in the midfield got the ball to Swales who weighted a perfect ball through to Jeorge Wedge who cooly put it past the keeper from the angle and made it 3-0 within 10 minutes of the game!

The SSAFC werent done and kept the pressure up and it wasnt long till the 4th arrived and a corner wasnt cleared properly and the ball was fumbled by the keeper and Deards was there just to slot into an empty net. Gillingham were shell shocked but the SSAFC carried on their ruthless approach in front of goal and Jonni Wedge got on the scoresheet when he won the ball and done a lovely pass and go move with Teale who released Wedge who finished the chance and made it 5-0 with not even half gone of the first half!

Gillingham tried to get someway back into the game but found chances hard to come by with Rowe & Jackson mopping up any danger and Gillingham resulting in long range efforts which Brown in goal found comfortable. Jonni Wedge then had a good chance go wide after good play on the right wing and the cross fizzed in but went past the post. The SSAFC then got the 6th when quick thinking from Rowe from a throw in, found Teale who's lovely skill released Swales who smashed home to make it 6 just before half time.

The second half started a bit sloppy with Gillingham looking to get some pride back and had an effort saved low by Brown, the SSAFC were building pressure but unable to add to the total for a bit before a Rowe long ball evaded the Gillingham defence and Teale brought the ball down before a cheeky lob over the keeper to make it 7. Teale then got his second hat-trick in 2 games when the ball broke to him on the edge of the box and his quick feet gave him room and he smashed home to make it 8.

The SSAFC kept the pressure up and chances from Dutton, Wedge & Deards went wide before the 9th came when a poor clearance found Wedge and from 35 yards hit a lovely strike over the keeper. Gillingham kept going looking for the goal but just couldnt break down a very solid backline for the SSAFC before the double figure mark was hit and it was Wedge who crossed for Swales who's effort hit the bar before dropping to Bell and with the goal at his mercy, tapped into an empty net to make it 10-0 just on the stroke of the full time whistle.
