Home league match played on 16 October 2011.
Kicked off at 10:30 AM

The game started in a brisk fashion with a renewed entusiasm from trinderbox and they had the better of the early skirmishes. The team were determined to put recent results behind them and turn the div 2 table upside down. With clear territorial advantave and showing a greater desire, the yellows were soon one up after ah inch perfect cross from Curtis, saw Chris Wicks rise above all to head firmly home from 8 yards, wth just 10 minutes gone. The whole team was playong above themselves and Lee tomas was playing well on his first full start.

Calvin & Stash were as solid as the worst case of constipation and with Adam Littlewood & mike in good attacking form Trinderbox fired themselves forwards with much aplomb. The midfield prompted on by Curtis & Wicks, added to the silky skills of both Lee & Bods, shippo & Paul were given the space and had the speed to run the tight defence ragged.

Athrough ball found Paul iracing in quicker than albran andhe slotted home oast he keeper for 2 - 0 on 24 minutes. The gaol, although initially given was finally disallowed as there had been a faint touch on the through ball to Paul mand off-side was the correct decision.

Trinderbox continued their positive form after the firast half and on 56 minutes, a firm shot from shippo was spilled, and with great anticipation, Lee Tomas made it 2 - o with his first goal for the club.

5 minutes later, poor defending saw too much space on a midfielder coming through, and on 61 minutes it was 2-1. On 64 minutes a second goal came fron dome indecisive defending from Trinderbox, and it was  2 - 2. Subs Brez & Dale came on for Adam Littlewood, who finally succomed to a chest infection and Chris Wickes, who had run himself into the ground.

With Lee & Paul both struggling and no more subs, disaster on 73 minutes as Foxes went infront for the first time in the game. Still Trinderbox refused to stay down, but today it was not to be as non 83 minutes, a nother score took it to 4 - 2. With time running out, stash tried to get the ball forwards to bring the scores closer, but a slip left an opening for a fifth, to make the final score 5 - 2 in the 89th minute.

With previous results of 6 -1, 14 - 2, & 8 - 4, Foxes clearly knew that they had been put through the mill, and whilst defeat is hard to taske sometimes, this was a superb effort by trinderbox and clearly augers well for future games. Proud heads were held high after a glourious effort by all. By Steve Kirk
