Away league match played on 26 September 2015.
Kicked off at 10:30 AM

This morning Cassies travelled to Warwickshire to play Central Ajax. After some confusion in finding the ground both teams lined up in glorious weather.

Ajax won the toss and elected to kick off and after some great midfield pressure brad shinton found himself on the wide left and whipped a ball into the box unfortunately no one was there to get on the end of it.

2 mins in to the game a long kick from Alex found Shinna in some space and after beating two defenders he slotted home comfortably.

Ajax 0-1 Cassies

On 9 mins Shinna again found space out wide a put a wonderful cross in to the box this time it was met by the head of Painy who rose like a salmon and the ball narrowly whistled over the bar. This was a great start from Cassies or was it?

Just 4 mins later a dubious refereeing decision saw perksy give away a penalty. The hosts stepped up and equalised from the spot 1-1. It took the hosts less than 2 mins to take advantage of a midfield and defence that seemingly had gone to sleep 2-1 Ajax.

Was this Cassies wake up call? Well it certainly seemed that way when straight from kick off cambo found Shinna in space and Shinna did what he does best by putting the ball in the back of the net 2-2.

In the 5-10 mins it seemed that Cassies had disappeared from the pitch with Ajax scoring two goals in quick succession 4-2 to the home side. 3 mins from half time jospin had a wonderful opportunity and forced a fantastic save from the keeper, who in turn launched the ball upfield finding an Ajax forward in space he then waltzed around 3 Cassies players and drove the ball home.

Half-Time

Central Ajax 5-2 Wolverhampton Casuals

After a few harsh words and several changes Cassies came out in the second half with the bit between their teeth.

On 51 mins Shinna forced the Ajax keeper to make a Worldy save. On 54 minutes a foul just inside our half saw perksy launch a ball in to Ajax box fooling the Ajax defence and keeper allowing Brad James to tap the ball into the back of the net 5-3.

With only 10 mins left to play Cassies opted for a more attacking style of play and when perksy got a free kick around 25 yards out he made no mistake as he drilled the ball in to the back of the net, now it really was game time, 6 mins from time RJ hit a long distance effort which narrowly missed the target.

Cometh the hour cometh the man and with 30 seconds of normal time remaining a poor Ajax clearance from a corner fell to perksy who once again drilled the ball into the back of the net from at least 20 yards. In stoppage time Ajax had a great chance to win it but a great save from Alex prevented that the game finished 5-5.

Perksy got a well deserved MOM award.

Great fight back but let's try and not be in that position again lads.
