Abasin Cricket Club Sulemankhel Football (Soccer) Team was founded in 1980 by a group of local enthusiasts. The club's first president was Abasin Khan, a local philanthropist.
The club quickly became one of the top football clubs in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. They won their first major trophy, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Premier League, in 2018.
The club has also represented Pakistan in the AFC President's Cup on two occasions. They finished third in the 2019 edition of the tournament.
