The club was founded in 1972 as Sidlesham Football Club. They played in the West Sussex League until 2019, when they resigned from the league after losing their home ground.
The club rejoined the West Sussex League in 2021, entering the Championship South. They won the division in 2021-22 and were promoted to the Premier Division.
