History
The club was founded in 1997 as the football section of the local steel works Steel, Peech & Tozer. They initially played in the Sheffield County Senior League, and won the Premier Division title in 1997/8.
In 2003, the club joined the Central Midlands Football League. They have since won promotion to the Premier Division on two occasions, in 2008/9 and 2017/18.

The league is sponsored by Abacus Lighting, a lighting company based in Sheffield.
