History
Allister Football Team was founded in 1972 by a group of friends who wanted to play football together. The team started out in the Cambridge and District Sunday Football League's lowest division, but quickly rose through the ranks.
In 1980, Allister won the Cambridge and District Sunday Football League Cup for the first time. The team has gone on to win the cup a further six times, most recently in 2019.
Allister has also won the Cambridge and District Sunday Football League League Championship twice, in 1982 and 2000.
Current Season
Allister is currently playing in the Cambridge and District Sunday Football League Premier Division. The team is currently in fifth place, but is only three points off the top of the table.
Allister has had a good season so far, winning 10 of its 15 games. The team has also scored 40 goals, which is the second-highest total in the league.
