America International University West Africa Football Team

America International University West Africa (AIUWA) is a private university in Banjul, Gambia. The university has a football team that competes in the Gambia Football Federation Division One League.

The AIUWA football team was founded in 2012. The team's home ground is the AIUWA Stadium in Banjul. The team's colors are red and white.

Recent History

The AIUWA football team has been one of the top teams in the Gambia Football Federation Division One League in recent years. The team has won the league title twice, in 2016 and 2018.

The AIUWA football team also reached the final of the Gambia FA Cup in 2017, but lost to Real de Banjul.
