The Army Crusaders are a grassroots football team based in Aldershot, Hampshire, England. They were founded in 1922 and are affiliated to the Army FA. The team currently plays in the Aldershot & District Sunday League.

History

Army Crusaders results

The Army Crusaders were founded in 1922 by a group of officers who were stationed at Aldershot Garrison. The team initially played in the Aldershot & District League, but they soon moved up to the Hampshire League.

The Army Crusaders enjoyed a period of success in the 1950s, winning the Hampshire League title in 1952 and 1953. They also reached the final of the FA Amateur Cup in 1954, where they lost to Bishop Auckland.

The team's fortunes declined in the following decades, but they enjoyed a revival in the 1990s. They won the Aldershot & District Sunday League title in 1994 and 1995, and they also reached the final of the Hampshire FA Senior Cup in 1996.

The Army Crusaders are currently playing in the Aldershot & District Sunday League. They are managed by Major Steve Bee and they play their home games at the Aldershot Military Stadium.
