Atherton Town U8 Storm is a youth football team based in Atherton, Greater Manchester. They play in the Bolton, Bury and District Football League (BBDFL) Under 8s (Yellow) division.
The team was formed in 2020 and is made up of players aged 7 and 8 years old. They train on a Tuesday and Thursday evening at Atherton Town's stadium, The Boundary Park.
The team is managed by Steve Smith and assisted by Mark Taylor. Steve has been involved in football for over 20 years and has a wealth of experience coaching youth players. Mark is a former professional footballer who played for Bolton Wanderers and Bury.
Atherton Town U8 Storm have had a successful start to the season, winning 7 of their 8 league games. They are currently top of the table and are looking to challenge for the league title.
