History
BDO FC was founded in 1974 by a group of friends who wanted to play football in the Brentwood area. The team initially played in the Brentwood & District League, before moving up to the Essex Olympian League in 1980.
In 1994, BDO FC were promoted to the Essex Senior League. The team has remained in the Essex Senior League ever since, and has finished as runners-up on three occasions.
Recent seasons
BDO FC finished the 2021-22 season in 10th place in the Essex Senior League. The team's highest finish in the league was in 2018-19, when they finished in second place.
BDO FC have also competed in the FA Vase on several occasions. The team's best performance in the FA Vase was in 2017-18, when they reached the third round.
