History
- The club was founded in 1888 and played in the Dorset League until 1957.
- In 1957, the club joined the newly formed Dorset Combination League and won the Division 1 championship in their first season.
- The club left the Dorset Combination League in 1964 due to a lack of players and money, but rejoined in 1967.
- Blandford United won the Dorset Combination League again in 1974–75 and 1982–83 seasons.
