History
Destroyers FC was founded in 1946 by a group of football enthusiasts in Chennai. The club's first president was Mr. P.R.K. Sethupathy.
The club has won the I-League 2nd Division title twice, in 2010-11 and 2018-19. They have also won the Tamil Nadu Premier League title four times, in 2010-11, 2011-12, 2017-18, and 2018-19.
